Dr. Alex Miller

Born and raised in Nashville, Dr. Alex Miller is a 2013 graduate of Lipscomb Academy and graduated from Lipscomb University in 2017 with a degree in Biology. While in college, Dr. Miller was involved in various college activities including Spring break mission trips to Honduras. He also went on a mission trip to Baja, Mexico where he volunteered in a free dental clinic.

Dr. Miller continued his education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2021. While in Memphis, he met his wife Caroline who is now a dental hygienist. The Millers have one little girl, Mary!

In July 2021, Dr. Miller joined Swang Dental Care as an Associate. In January 2024, Dr. Miller acquired the 48-year-old practice from Dr. Ronald Swang.

Dr. Miller is a current member of the Tennessee Dental Association and American Dental Association. He enjoys cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, Nashville Predators, Tennessee Titans, playing golf, duck hunting and spending time with family and friends. The Millers are excited to be in Nashville serving the community!

Michelle - R.D.H.

Michelle is one of our dental hygienists and has been a part of our team since 1999. Although, sometimes it feels like a lifetime since Dr. Swang was Michelle’s childhood dentist! She will help you keep your teeth healthy and clean and can answer your hygiene questions. When Michelle isn’t working, she can usually be found at a soccer or basketball game with one of her two children.

Julie - R.D.H.

Julie is one of our dental hygienists and has worked with Miller Family Dentistry part-time for the past 26 plus years. She has a very gentle touch and takes great care of her patients. Julie was born and raised in the Nashville area and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Memphis where she received her degree in dental hygiene. Julie is married and has two children.

Marie – R.D.H.

Marie is one of our hygienists and has been working part time with our team for several years. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis where she earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Marie’s outgoing personality makes her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their time in our office. Marie is married with twin girls and loves spending time as a family at the lake and the beach.

Cathy - R.D.A.

Cathy is one of our dental assistants and is also our longest employed team member! She has been with Miller Family Dentistry for almost 30 plus years. Cathy can truly say that she enjoys working in the dental profession and taking care of our patients. She is highly skilled and can do just about anything that the dentist can do! Cathy is married and has two boys.

Abby - R.D.A, C.D.A.

Abby is one of our dental assistants. She has been with Miller Family Dentistry for the last 10 plus years. Abby is very talented at what she does and makes our patients feel at ease in the dental chair. She is married and has two children. Outside of the office, Abby enjoys running, photography and beach vacations!
